8th IWCFTA

Welcome to the 8th IWCFTA, Harbin, Heilongjiang, China (29th, Aug. - 1st, Sep. 2015)

Chaos and fractals are among the greatest discoveries of the 20th century, which have been widely investigated with significant progress and achievements. It has become an exciting emerging interdisciplinary area in which a broad spectrum of technologies and methodologies are being studied to deal with large, complex, and dynamical problems.

The 8th IWCFTA aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, researchers and engineers to present the state-of-the-art advancements in the studies of chaos-fractal theories and their applications to complex systems, cryptography, information processing, multimedia, communications, biology, economics, finance and so on.

Some accepted papers will be further peer-reviewed for publication in some journals.

All the accepted papers of the conferences from 1st IWCFTA to 5th IWCFTA were indexed by EI Compendex. In the 6th and 7th IWCFTA, the accepted papers are recommended to publish in SCI indexed journals. The IWCFTA 2009, IWCFTA 2010, IWCFTA 2011, IWCFTA 2012, and IWCFTA 2014 have been reported by IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Newsletter. More information can be found at:
